In a nutshell, Local Sounds is a city-based music industry model that strives to help build scenes and then connect them to provide new opportunities for artists across the region. By doing this, it keeps artists local to their home base, yet allows them to create relationships, build a fan base, plan a tour network, or a music distribution chain without competing for exposure like they do on other sites.
Through the city-based model, Local Sounds doesn't have to focus its time and energy on creating the networks and business model for artists. The artists are able to create their own network and business model through information and resources that is available through the tools provided by Local Sounds.
